We are always on the look out for staff. Basically, we are looking for two types of role: Assistants to the teachers; and teachers.

Assistants to the Drama Teacher

​

Pay: £15/hour - (this is true in 2023. If it is not 2023, please let me know about this I can can edit this page.)

​

When we hire: A September start is best - but anytime is a good time to find a great member of staff!

(we have new schools and new teachers who need assistants in September.)

​

Our Assistant jobs are time specific. You need to be free to work between 3 – 6pm weekdays and term time. We are flexible with how many days a week you work and even let you choose schools that are close to you for a shorter commute. We try to make you happy.

Who should apply?

Anyone who has an interest in working with children and clears the DBS check – very important! It is nice if you like drama, too… but not essential. The historical trend seems to be (and in no particular order):

• Parents of children who attend our clubs (there are benefits to this one);

• Teaching assistants from primary schools;

• Lunchtime supervisors from schools;

• Former students of our clubs;

• Parents of young children;

• Parents of old children;

• People with an interest in drama;

• Actors;

• Students at university;

• Young adults on a gap year;

What they all have in common is this: they all live locally and are looking for a job that suits their lifestyle… and that they can work one or more weekdays between 3-6pm, term time.

We train you: Safeguarding, first aid, how to get the best out of children, etc. We look after you, we respect you. As with our teachers: I consider it a success if by the end of your employment – because all things end – you still respect me and enjoyed working with Enspire.

Teacher of a Drama club

​

Pay: £50/hour - (this is true in 2023. If it is not 2023, please let me know about this I can can edit this page.)

Teacher Training Pay: Up to £30/hour - (as above)

When we hire: A September start is best!

(But actually, any time of year is perfectly fine with us.)

Our Teacher jobs are time specific. You need to be free to work between 3 – 6pm weekdays and term time. We are flexible with how many days a week you work and even let you choose schools that are close to you for a shorter commute. Just like our assistants: we try to make you happy.

Who should apply?

Anyone who has an interest in working with children and clears the DBS check – very important! It is nice if you like drama, too… but it does not need to be your favourite subject when you arrive. The historical trend seems to be:

• Teachers (generally Primary, or Secondary Drama) who are looking to decrease their working days - they might do 2 or three days at a school and then do one or two days with us.

• Primary school Teaching assistants - again, like the above, they find that lowering their hours at a school by an hour or so a day and then teaching with us can significantly increase their take home pay at the end of the month.

• Our current assistants. We support them with their own plans.

• Parents of any age children who enjoy the time specific nature of the role.

• Actors - looking to supplement their income.

• People with an interest in Drama.

What they all have in common is this: they all live locally and are looking for a job that suits their lifestyle… and that they can work one or more weekdays between 3-6pm, term time.

When you are ready and we are ready, we supply you with your own school clubs. Everyone goes at their own pace. We look after you, we respect you.
